Our New Spiritual Home
Holmes Place: a beautiful place for our new Spiritual Home.
We will keep you updated on what's going on at Holmes Place. In April we had a picnic and visualized our new Center. Planning groups have met since and have spent many hours putting thoughts and ideas on paper. We hope you enjoy browsing through the report they have compiled, visualizing our new Center as you do. Members of the planning group included David DeRidder,Suzy Horton, Judy James, Bob Kahrs, Evelyn Kahrs, Paul Martin, Kathe O’Donnelly, Jim Soll, Kathy Tanner, Laura Warnock and Kelly Woodhouse. We'll keep you updated as we go further into the planning process with our Design/Build firm, The Hardy Group.
In 2009 the congregation came together and gathered up the funds needed to purchase this beautiful property on Holmes Blvd. for our new Spiritual Home. It is 10.3 acres with at least 4 buildable acres which will allow room for a 15,000 square foot building, parking, and recreation areas. Other areas will be left natural for a walkway through the wetlands, gardens, meditation areas and a labyrinth.
