The Breathflow “Introduction to Transformational Breathing” Workshop is a 3-hour experiential introduction to the healing modality of conscious breathing, an important adjunct to Yoga. Participants learn from a brief discourse the benefits of conscious breathing, as well as how to perform the technique and what to expect in a session. They are then given the opportunity of a full hour-long group breath session, guided by a certified facilitator(s). The workshop ends with the group forming a circle to share profound experiences and to learn how they can continue to integrate this new healing modality into their lives. Supporting materials of books, CD’s, and other items are available to continue to deepen the experience at home.

Benefits of Breathflow Transformational Breathing

The benefits of the Transformational Breath technique cross multiple dimensions of the human experience: physical, emotional, and spiritual. Participants learn how to breathe in a relaxed, circular, flowing pattern, utilizing their full respiratory system, often for the first time in their lives. Reports of more energy and greater sense of relaxation are common. On an emotional level, one can expect to be able to let go and process old wounds and traumas in a manner that is safe, gentle, and profoundly effective all at the same time. Through the conscious awareness of the breath, participants also come to a greater attunement with their spiritual nature, which can manifest as heightened intuition or a tangible sense of connectedness with their higher self and all life, among other experiences. Invariably, participants come away with a greater respect and awe for the enormous healing potential within the process of breathing, which nearly everyone has taken for granted most of their lives.

R. Christian Minson is a former monastic, Certified Transformational Breathing® Facilitator, and conscious entrepreneur. Through his company, Breathflow Wellness, Christian teaches the application of spiritual principles and breathing techniques to achieve modern-world success and happiness.
