CSL St. Augustine offers programs for youth below the age of 18 that offer a safe and loving place for them to explore and learn about their spiritual nature. CSL provides a Youth Program for each youth group to participate in an age appropriate planned lesson on Sundays. CSL understands that parents need to feel comfortable that their children are cared for during the Sunday service.
Youth Class
A Youth class is available for Elementary age children Sunday mornings from 9:15 am – after service
Children gather to talk about the things that are most important to them. A short lesson and activity is presented each class that usually coincides with the minister’s Sunday message. This is a great time for children to share their thoughts, feelings and experiences through art, music and fun games.
Teen Class
A Teen Class is available for Sunday mornings from 9:15 am – after service.
Discussions and activities vary according to the ages and interests of the group, but during the one-hour gathering the focus is on New Thought principles and how they relate to them in their lives, which helps teens build life skills and spiritual awareness. Introductions and time for socializing are incorporated into the class. At the end of the hour Teens join the adult members for refreshments and fellowship in the hospitality room.
Teens regularly invite friends and visiting or new teens are always a welcome delight!
